The phones ringing all day all night the outreach team doing what we did best the happy chatter making sales hitting targets drowning in coffee getting the job done
The Whisper (it/its)[1] is a brief antagonist of Season 1. It is a Saint of the god Babble, a God of lies and mimicry. It has the power of perfectly mimicking others' voices over the phone.

Notable Events[]
We encounter The Whisper as Paige, Faulkner and Carpenter take shelter in an abandoned call-centre, and are targeted by The Whisper as new sacrifices to their god.[2]
The Whisper was formerly a call centre employee who, after being routinely snubbed by their coworkers and increasingly desperate to hit their sales targets, fell under the influence of the god and sacrificed their co-workers to it.[2] It keeps a collection of the ears of their victims, as ears appear to be a symbol of Babble.
It is unclear whether the employee accidentally created the god Babble, or if they fell under the influence of a stray god in the midst of their desperation.
